I'm More Worried about Our Government Killing a Citizen in Our Streets

If you're more offended by the f word than by our United States government unjustifiably shooting and killing a citizen, you might want to check your priorities.

Notice when the Minneapolis mayor dropped the f bomb and all the legacy news media owned by billionaires kept asking him if his rhetoric was "inciting violence." The only ones inciting violence are our government when they murder citizens and the president and his cronies calling citizens "domestic terrorists."

We are in frightening times when half of us see one thing and half of us see another and we're watching the same video. The amount of propaganda filling online, a lot of it coming straight from our own government, feels like it's too much to overcome.

But then I show up at the protests and community events. I see real people, human connection. I see people that care, and love, and want a better world. It gives me just a little bit of hope. And sometimes that's all we have. Stay strong and stay safe.
