What Does No Kings Actually Mean?

A lot of conservatives and MAGA seem to be confused about No Kings, so let's explain it to them. No Kings means opposing Constitutional violations and actions by the Trump Administration that are authoritarian, such as:

• Unilaterally sending in military troops to blue cities

• Promoting and wearing merch indicating he'll run for president in 2028

• Detaining and arresting peaceful protesters

• Violent mass deportation

• Violent para-military masked federal agents harassing the public

• Targeting universities, law firms, and other institutions to comply with whatever Trump demands

• Freezing federal grant funding without congressional approval

• Firing "unloyal" federal workers

• Executive order challenging birthright citizenship

• Data and privacy violations by DOGE and DHS now being used for mass surveillance.

• Alligator Alcatraz: a literal internment camp in Florida

• and so much more.

But one big protest on the sidewalks will not make change. Yesterday is meant to show just how many regular people (over 7 million by latest numbers) are sick and tired of this. But we must do more. We must take action to actually FORCE change.

Join a democratic club, learn about mutual aid, canvas for Yes on 50, attend a school board meeting. DO SOMETHING. Don't let one big protest be all you do. There's so much more work to do if we want this hell to stop.
